Hardware fails all the time and that’s not going to change anytime in the near future. Computers cram a lot of components into a small space and if you keep your computer on all the time, the wear and tear of the heat will eventually cause something to fail.
The most common hardware failure I’ve run into as a tech is the hard drive. Hard drives crash more often than you think. Traditional hard drives have spinning platters to store the data and therefore end up failing the most often. We can take out a failed piece of hardware, replace it, install the latest software for the hardware and perform basic data recovery for a failed hard drive.
We can also fix a host of other hardware problems including broken screens, power outlets or jacks, bad RAM, motherboards, etc. Here’s a more comprehensive list:
- Windows error messages, file corruption or other software issues
- Blue screen errors
- Sound card problems
- Computer boot or shutdown problems
- Memory problems
- Printer and Scanner problems
- Internet problems
- Keyboard and mouse problems
The price for a repair will depend on the hardware, the brand and the extent of the problem. Bring it to us and we’ll diagnose the problem for free and then call you back to give you an estimate on the cost to repair.
